I have a question: do you think I could put a background to this? Or will it mess up the layout?

it should be fine, but i deleted the sections where you add the background url, so you'll have to add:

background-image: url('');
background-repeat: repeat;
background-position: top-left;

to the BODY { section at the very top of the CSS.

hope that helps! :D

I am using this layout - it is beautiful, thank you so much!

Just something I noticed, when you click "comment", it leaves a wide gap between the blog entry and the area where you comment! (you can see it on my blog).

But other than that I am so in love with this layout!

oh! *facepalm* i haven't made a sidebar layout in a little while and completely forgot. :P

you can fix that, i believe by going into the css, and in the comment page code (at the bottom of the page) you'll find

.box {
padding: 15px;
background: #FFFFFF;
clear: left; <-- changing this to "right" should help.
}
