its easy to take the sidebar out,

1.} go to .sidebar add "display: none;" under it.
2.} go to .maincontent make the "margin: 5px 5px 5px 5px;"

Hello :) This is a bit of a weird question, but do you know if there is a way to remove the friends only 'padlock' image that often appears next to an entry subject title? I guess you would take the url of the image out of the html, but as far as I know, lj only lets you override, not edit the codes of a layout. Its really picky of me, I know, but it bothers me no end lmao. Anyway, I apologise for barging in on your journal. Thank you for all the fabulous layouts!

I have a really stupid question, but what exactly is a pinned post? I love how it looks on your current layout. Is it just a post dated later and you used tables to give it that look?

yup! i set the entries date to a month that hasn't come yet, checked the "date out of order" box, and used a modified set of profile codes to give it the 2 column look.

Oh, pretty! Definitely using.

But I am having some problems. On the comments page, all the comments seem to go down to the bottom, after the sidebar. Anyway to fix that?

aah! i forgot to switch the .box section, i rarely make layouts with the sidebar on the right.

but you'll need to find this:

.box {
border-style: solid;
border-width: 1px 0px 0px 0px;
border-color: #cccccc;
padding: 10px;
clear: right; <---- make "LEFT"
}
